Copiague is located on the south shore of Long Island, New York, United States of America, about 35 miles east of New York City. According to Google Earth, at Oak Street and Great Neck Road (near the center of town) the global coordinates are 40°40’48.03”N, 73°23’57.10”W at an elevation of 20 feet.
Copiague’s history involves the neighboring towns of Amityville, Lindenhurst, and Babylon. Because of this association, bits of Copiague's history were found in various locations. This site pulls together information from various sources, with an emphasis on Copiague.
