The recent Indian Island fire has caused much damage to a community still recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy and Irene. As the smoke clears, the opportunity arises once again for us to come together as friends and neighbors. The fire has destroyed homes and property but cannot destroy our spirit, compassion and love for one another.
Copiague/Lindenhurst Community United is a fund established by the Copiague Chamber of Commerce to support victims of the April 20th fire, to support the local fire departments that bravely fought the flames and to alleviate unforeseen recovery needs.
